Salter Round Electronic Kitchen Scale
These round kitchen scales from Salter are easy to use, clean and are very accurate. They are finished in white ABS plastic and are designed to weigh directly onto the platform or for use with a bowl, which isn't supplied. The Salter 1015 Electronic Kitchen Scale automatically adjusts for use with most bowls or containers and has an easy to read 10mm LCD disply with auto zero and auto shut-off. The left hand button (lb/kg) allows easy conversion between pounds and kilograms and the right hand button is for on/off and auto zero. As with many Salter products, this kitchen scale comes with a 15 year guarantee and weighs in increments of 1g or 0.1oz and has a maximum capacity of 3kg or 7lb.

SPECIAL DISPLAY SIGNALS
- "Low Battery": The batteries are drained and have to be replaced. Remember to dispose of them in conformity to your country’s waste disposal laws.
- "STOP" The weight of the ingredients or container exceeds maximum capacity (5 kg/11 lb).
- The minus sign appears when you calculate tare and remove the container from the scale pan. To cancel tare and reset the display, remove all weights.
How to weigh ingredients
- Select the gradation in grams or ounces with the selector under the scale.
- Press to turn on the scale. After 2-3 seconds, the display will show: 0:0
- Put the ingredients to be weighed on the scale pan: the display will show their weight.
- If the scale is not used for more than 3 minutes, it will automatically turn off to save the batteries.
How to calculate tare
- Put a container on the scale: the display will show its weight.
- Press "Tare" and the display will show: 0:0
- Remove the container: the display will show the weight of the container preceded by a minus sign .
- Put the ingredients in the container: the display will show the weight of the ingredients alone. The scale automatically subtracts the weight of the container from the ingredients you put on the scale until you cancel the tare.
- To cancel the tare, remove all weights from the scale pan and press .
